Before your Interview

During your Interview

During your interview, be prepared to answer behavioral questions或者是让你谈谈过去的经历来展示你的技能和资格的问题. 行为问题通常以“描述一个时间”或“告诉我一个时间”开头." 

Use the STAR Approach when you answer these questions:

1. S情境:确定你经历过的一个挑战、问题、担忧、问题或冲突.
2. T问:描述一下你的职责、角色以及参与的人员.
3. Actions: Explain what you did and the skills you used.
4. Results: Name the outcomes, accomplishments, what you contributed and learned, and how you were effective.

Here are some other interview tips that can help you nail your interview: 

• 当你回答面试官的问题时，要和他们有眼神交流.

After Your Interview

面试结束后，一定要在面试后24小时内发一封感谢信. You can use mail or email, but because hiring timelines move fast, it is recommended that you send an email.

Remember: 

• Keep your thank you short, no more than 2 paragraphs.

Plan your elevator speech.

Networking starts with your elevator speech. Think of this as 一个30秒的自我介绍，可以在网络设置中使用, like a career fair or professional conference.

• What top skills are you proud of?
